ingenuity! memory excersizes

time check: it's the 60th day of my junior year of high school, thursday night, just past room check. yesterday my good friend jess left the school, and tomorrow i leave for XC states invitational.

today (so i don't forget)...
  • i don't remember much of the morning...it was my double-late sleep in period just like every thursday, really really nice but i was messing with my hair too much. (it's gotten dry and gross and it looks more and more ridiculous the more i touch it. haha.) didn't eat breakfast, as usual on days like these..got my meds...
  • went to the long collection period that i love so much. i remember this one because i was wearing my glasses, which i never do, and Nova was looking at me. he really doesn't ever talk in real life just as i thought- he doesn't even respond to Kevin Simone when he barks hilarious remarks at him. it's just silly.
  • went to spanish..Mabel thinks i'm cheating on my homework. my dad texted me again congradulating me on buying racing shoes and getting ready for states and just heaping the praise on me, saying he was proud of me for lots of things besides cross country. that actually made me feel a bit bad since i'm not in my best position right now.
  • didn't sit down to lunch (shit, i just realized! that's bad) i brought a bowl of frosted flakes to american lit. we just started on "The Night Thoreau Spent In Jail" and, the english nerd i am, i'm pretty excited. the first 10 pages or so were a good read. Kevin Huang and i acknowledged eachother a lot more today and i spent some time acknowledging Emma Oh who literally hasn't spoken a word in class all year. and at some point the class discussion led to the incident when Kevin HANG (too many kevins in my life) was held in a south african prison on a service trip and was deported back to china. it was my obligation to mention him since no one rembered that the student was him, and yes it felt strange. i don't think many of the people in the room ever knew we dated.
  • painting and drawing class was good for once! the woman inside my mandala looks pretty, and Pam showed me how to make the watercolors work well into her hair, and upon practicing the colors i chose and the way i tried it out made it look beautiful...so i'm happy. Jack Wong and Melissa AND Michelle can be jealous. just for today.
  • envi sci; good. more Planet Earth which never stop being cool.
  • went to Bev's office to sign up my set-in-stone decision for my service trip this spring- and i'm in for NICARAGUA with Chavez, Vladi and Emma James =] very very good. went back to the dorm to look around the net again for the Shang Shang Typhoon version of "Ave Maria" in opening of Spring And Chaos, still not much luck. i've been singing that song all day.
  • went to practice..our team is narrowed down just to the seven who are racing in states so it was mini mini and it felt funny. got one short glimpse from Michael Lo. and i knew it would be a hard workout today but it was kinda silly..Stephen had us run to Council Rock where we did a tempo mile (mine was kinda lame) and ran back. i was in a bad mood when we got back because i knew i'd be suuuper late for dinner...washed my hair, shaved one leg (ha) and went to the dining hall.
  • made cheesy fried rice again that worked out well..what'd we talk about at the table?...doodle buddy. Samson looked at me. i high-fived Robbie Van Pelt at the shift window about the matrices quiz tomorrow (ha, i just realized i'll be missing it because i'm leaving early). i laid in main hall with Ali doodling some more. Jacob Folk went by and asked me if Sandy was upset- first time he's talked to me in a while. Michael Lo and Jerry walked past us while we were canoodling, we said hey.
  • pauline's apartment reminded me halloween is very soon! all of study i FB'd with Nova some more as always, youtube, downloaded some Chemical Brothers. recruited Sandy to Last.fm. walled Vladi about Nicaragua very excited-like. messaged with Oliver Horsey about some hip music. Nathan Chan flooded me on Jerry's status like the guy he is, asking me to skype him like the guy he is, saying he's call me like the guy he is, saying "i love u" like the guy he is. he's just silly.
that's it.

and so now; it's really late, Sandy's on her crazy chinese search engine listening to Lily Allen we NEED TO GO TO SLEEP.
